What's New

May 7, 2006 - Yesterday I walked with my kids by the river. A strange day, feeling more like October in New England, than May in Salt Lake City. Overcast, snowfall visible over the perwinkle mountains, yet the grass was a newborn green ablaze with blue flax. We picked medicinal herbs and threw stones in the river, and imagined ourselves to be trailblazers.

It's good to be writing again, after a long dry spell. My daughter turned 13 on Friday, and this is in honor of her. Here is another love poem, and a rant.

November 30, 2006 - Well, for starters, this site! I'm pretty new to managing a website, so bear with me. I know the site search function isn't working yet, just the Web search. Please report any broken links to me, and let me know in general how the site works for you. I'll post information here about new pages, new poetry on existing pages, and, well, any changes in general.
